About Friends of SCICON
The Friends of SCICON, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. The Friends of SCICON is an all volunteer organization with no paid employees. 100% of the funds raised are used to improve or enhance the SCICON program for students of the Central Valley.
Philosophy
“SCICON, as it exists today, is an amazing testimony to what the vision, hard work, and dedication of generations of people can create. Everywhere you look you see well thought out buildings, enhanced outdoor spaces, and trails created with the students in mind. This site has outstanding community support and involvement, especially evident in the building of cabins by individual communities and the SCICON foundation.”
